The Trilunium Chronicles, Book 3
Three years have passed in New Sargasso. Anne and Prince Caleb have married and have three children.
Anne, Caleb, and Maria are called to Trilunium where they find a battered and beaten Crown Prince Patrick, now King of Odzoo.
Their father has died defending the last stronghold of the Odzooken people, being overrun by marauders.
The last of the matrilineal line of Queen Emily the Brave dies in the attempt to hold off marauders in Trilunium.
Sofós Voskós crowns Queen Anne the Magnificent and Prince Caleb rulers of Trilunium. Maria returns to New Sargasso to bring their children back to Trilunium for them, but is unable to return for reasons unknown to Queen Anne and Prince Caleb.
They mourn the “loss” of their children, but trust Maria to take care of them and bring them to Trilunium when the time is right.
King Patrick attempts to return to Odzoo but finds his route blocked. He knows the route to New Sargasso and goes to help Maria return with the children.
When they are unable to return, he and Maria marry and raise the children of Queen Anne and Prince Caleb together.
