The Trilunium Chronicles, Book 1
Four sisters from New Sargasso visit the world of Trilunium. There they meet up with four princes from the world of Odzoo.
The Winklestein sisters – Charlotte, Emily, Anne, and Maria – venture into a cave in New Sargasso. They wind up in the land of Trilunium, where a prophecy exists that four sisters will each rule the land, though it’s vague on the exact circumstances under which this will happen.
The four princes from Odzoo – Patrick, Aaron, Joshua, and Caleb – are called from their world, through a cave, and into the world of Trilunium. They are greeted by the four sisters, as well as a very polite, talking velociraptor.
The velociraptor tells them of the evil has entered the world through a portal as they fled their own dying world.
The two-headed dragon, Deimos and Phobos, are wreaking havoc on the land.
As the three older sisters and princes begin to formulate a plan, something catches Maria’s eye, and the youngest sister, age 12, wanders off.
She’s found by Deimos and Phobos, who offer her S’mores – an exotic treat never found before in New Sargasso. They lure her to their lair with them.
Crown Prince Patrick, age 18, realizes Maria has disappeared and follows her tracks. He strikes a deal with Deimos and Phobos to release Maria, but they both end up in captivity.
The son of the Ruler-of-the-Skies, a fire- and ice-breathing dragon called Sofós Voskós – the Wise Shepherd – arrives to strike a deal with Deimos and Phobos.
Patrick and Maria are taken to a mountain top. They are released when Sofós Voskós hands himself over to Deimos and Phobos. They watch from a distance as a sword is used to pry off one of Sofós Voskós’s scales then executes him.
Patrick carries a frightened Maria to safety. Together, they spend the night in the woods and alternate between trekking and resting, until they find the rest of their siblings.
A large, scale battle ensues, with the sisters leading the strategic planning and the princes executing the plans. Sofós Voskós returns and isolates then exiles Deimos and Phobos to The Despondent Beyond.
The rest of the evil forces have the choice to pledge allegiance to Sofós Voskós or be exiled to the outer realms of Trilunium. About two-thirds stay.
Sofós Voskós crowns Charlotte as Queen Charlotte the Triumphant and she marries Prince Aaron. They stay in Trilunium as their siblings return to their homelands.
